The John Muir Lodge is a welcome addition to the
Grant Grove Village. Set east of the village and further in the trees
then the
Grant Grove Cabins, the Lodge has 30 motel style rooms and 6 suites

Dedicated to the memory of John Muir, noted
naturalist and author, the lobby includes a reading room with an extensive selection of
written material for guests to enjoy. Muir's journeys in this area are commemorated
in the lobby paintings and photos. The lobby is complete with a stone fireplace, and
redwood mantle, formerly located in historic Giant Forest. |
